The stock of newly completed apartments that remain unsold reached about 10,500 in August, compared with about 8,000 in April. Separately, a request was filed in Kiryat Gat for 200 apartments under the self-licensing track, among the largest filed so far.

What it means for buyers abroad

A larger stock of finished, unsold units points to more choice on the market. Buyers abroad may find more available inventory, though local conditions differ by city.
